What Is A Psychometric Test?

Psychometrics or tossing a coin?
Selecting individuals by interview produces nothing more than almost chance results.
  • Interviews are an 80% poor predictor of performance on the job.
  • Interviews are costly, biased and tend to clone existing personality types, for good or ill
  • Using Tests

    • Good tests are those that do deliver and therefore are valid; bad tests are those that don’t deliver and are therefore invalid
    • A test is only as good as the person doing the interpretation
